If you are traveling from the United Kingdom, Gibraltar (GIB) airport is a quick and convenient option.

  • Jerez (130 km - 1h20): Excellent alternative, often less crowded.

  • Car: Rates in Spain are very competitive. Take the AP-7 for a direct route.
  • Bus: Daily connections with TG Comes from Malaga bus station.

Expect about 2h15 drive (210 km) from Seville Airport (SVQ).

  • The classic route takes the A-4 highway to Jerez, then joins the N-340 towards Tarifa.
  • It’s a strategic alternative if flights to Malaga are full or too expensive.

Yes, a car is almost essential for an autonomous kitesurf stay.

  • Access to spots: Spots like Valdevaqueros or Las Caños are not accessible on foot.
  • Equipment: Transporting boardbags requires a spacious trunk or roof bars.
  • Alternative: For students without gear, renting a scooter or bike in town allows mobility.

It is possible with TG Comes, but only if there is available space in the luggage hold.

  • Boards are generally accepted for a special luggage fee.
  • Risk: During busy periods, the driver may refuse gear if the hold is full.
