Tarifa is undoubtedly one of the best destinations to start kitesurfing, thanks to its exceptional conditions.
With over 300 windy days per year at more than 15 knots, Tarifa earned its nickname as the Mecca of Kitesurfing due to its geographic location, which creates a funnel effect (Venturi) with the African coast.
The region offers a unique atmosphere, a wide range of activities, and breathtaking landscapes to explore.
And the best part: it’s less than a 3-hour flight from most European capitals, making it perfect for an accessible and unforgettable kitesurfing trip.
